Stuck On You...

Since I haven't been to work in a while, things like my over-sized mail have piled-up there. One of the parcels contained a new print by Jamie Fales of Noosed Kitty called, "Stuck on You." I first met her at the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn. It will be added to the growing collection of bunny prints launched by Jen Tong's Bunny Boy.

ok...I ordered a bunny tea card and a new morning pocket mirror for me and a llama pirate button for Cathy because she wrote a deviant art entry about people with eyepatches ;-)
I have to stop staying up so late...makes me buy funny things!

That's great that you're lending your support to other artists. I think that when we buy artisan goods, we give back to ourselves on so many levels. For one, it financially backs a creative, inspirational, and engaging community that responds on a personal level to the world and its clients. We are apart of that community. I really believe in buying art, crafts, and all sorts of goodies from small operations. When one thrives, usually the wealth is spread out.

Go team, GO!

I so much agree, Andrew! I love to be able to support other artists. It's usually the deciding factor if I'm not sure about making a purchase...knowing that it supports another person's work and encourages them to keep going is enough for me, and it feels so good. My son is working on getting Cathy started with selling her prints on DA...it runs in the family ;-)...(and he's working on a possible design for the t-shirt for aikido camp in less than two weeks...I'd so much love to see that happen!)
