Small Blessings...
When the toad lilies first started to bloom, I delighted in each and every single blossom. Their speckled petals and orchid-like shapes brought so much happiness! I thought that one or two was amazing. Now that fall is underway and the toad lily is really established and thriving, the arching stems are covered in dozens and dozens of flowers! The plants seem bejeweled with these small blessings.

I have no affinity for growing things. These are especially beautiful and I am glad that you shared them with us. They have the most spectacular color palette.
Enjoy the day!

I, like Erin, have a "brown" thumb. Those lillies are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
They are beautiful! I have never heard of toad lilies before-must not be a michigan flower.
It looks like Indonesian orchid.
