The Tucson Workshops...
I've been thinking a lot about the desert recently. Part of me will always belong to the sand, stone and endless sky of the Southwest. I was born there. The desert is apart of me. I'm looking forward to spending part of my winter in the desert. Not only because I'll be escaping the mountains of snow and ice, but I always enjoy my time there. We have a lot in common and I deeply respect and admire her and her work. While in Tucson, we'll be co-teaching workshops. This is very exciting! The details are coming to fruition and it promises to be a most excellent time. I've got a lot to share.

That is so cool that you'll be teaching with Kate! I've always admired her artistry. I can't even imagine what it must be like to have her brain. Or yours!
Andrew! That photo, I remember the moment you took it, in the parking lot at the Best Bead.
: )
I remember you took one too!
I don't know if it's possible, but I would love to visit the Rincon Mountains and leave an offering of rough turquoise. I hear that the old mountains are the magic mountains.
I visited Tucson for the very first time last winter for a week. I loved it so much that I am going to be coming out again this coming Feb. I love the desert and the cacti. So inspiring.
A part of me is still in Tucson too, I put down very deep roots there 15 years ago. I wish I was still there and then I could go to your workshop too!
