My good friend and talented artisan,
Candice Wakumoto sent me an early birthday present and care package! Whenever I open a package from her, it's like Christmas morning. She sent a variety of Asian foods and Hawaiian specialities that are hard –
nigh impossible – to track down here (including coconut butter not shown in the picture). She also sent a cat toy for "the kids" (also not shown).

But the real prize included in her package from Hawaii was the opening flower pod made out of fine silver with gold accents. I love the organic shape and all the possibilities of what to fill it with. This will most definitely go into my treasure chest of favorite things.

Lucky you! I was in Hawaii not too long ago and love the asian section in the stores! I brought home some great sea salt too!!!
