The Work of Justin Gibbens...

I was reading Amy Ross' blog and saw that she's having a show with Justin Gibbens at Punch Gallery in Seattle. I just love Justin Gibbens' work. It has a strong influence in the zoological illustrations of the 18th and 19th century, but updates these modes of working with chimeric hybrid creatures in alternate natural histories. He captures these cross-breed creatures beautifully.
