In the most recent April issue of Martha Stewart Living, there is an article by Mary Duenwald in the Wellness section about the various aspects of hoarding. I found it very interesting, considering that I'm a bit of a hoarder myself. It says that it usually runs in the family and that people who hoard are "more intelligent" than non-hoarders. Check out the article by clicking on the images of the poorly scanned pages above, or pick up your own copy. There's also a really tasty looking recipe for Pork Chops with Onion Compote in it. Yum!

You need to get the hair off your scanner. :)
But thanks for the reprint!
- An intelligent, compulsive hoarder who needs to send this article to her father.
Ha ha ha! I do indeed need to get the hair off the scanner. And perhaps scrape off the gel medium. And the dust. And the bits of torn edges of paper. I never really realized how dirty it was until this. Eek!
I've been looking for this article on hoarding for the longest time (I could only find the first page--I'm sure the other page is somewhere among my stuff (smile).
Thank you.
