After the book signing at
Books of Wonder with the delightful
Robin Wasserman, a stop on the way back to the apartment at the
Greenmarket in Union Square was only natural. In fact, the late autumn harvest demanded it! I couldn't resist pulling my camera out for a few quick snapshots.

How 'bout them apples!
Ugly-beautiful, yellow beefsteak tomatoes.

Reddish-pink baby carrots.

Cute mini-pumpkins.
Left: More apples. Right: Purple potatoes.

Pretty parsnips.
