30 Words Thursday...

Green rose of desert origins, how I admire you completely. In dry neglect, you flourish. Broken, you multiply. Spiked tipped leaves keep harm at bay.  You are sturdy and succulent.

Your words make me smile while continuously glancing at the photo. Both are sublime!

You describes the plant so well. I am a real fan of succulents because "In dry neglect" they seem to flourish.

Nice photo. My grandmother grew these and your photo made me think of her.

Succulents are the type of plant for me. Their sturdiness makes them feel grounded and more linked to the earth, as if they would stay put no matter what. I love the fullness of their leaves and the folding in on themselves. Thank you again for sharing your 30 Words! enjoy the day. Erin

Great shot of one of my favorite plants. Nice to see someone else also loves them.
