This week, one lucky winner will take home a copy of Margot Potter's new book, Bead Chic. This clever book of 36 designs with variations of each comes courtesy of the talented Margot Potter. Addressing the elements of jewelry design, Margot covers scale, color, texture, pattern, foundations, and focal elements. With these tools, she implores the reader to break away from the approach of creating exact replicas from books and magazines and to create something uniquely their own. The designs that are featured and techniques she employs are springboards of creativity and provide helpful examples of easy elegance. To learn more about Margot, visit her newly revamped website HERE or her crafting blog HERE.

I think I like them all.
I know I have to pic one, so it would be "Bead and Wire Jewelry Exposed" as well as "Bead Chick". I went to B&N looking for it, but they did not have it in the store.
I would have a hard time picking a a favorite Margot Potter book! I am currently saving up for this book!!
I'd really like to read the current new book, (so puh-leeeze send it my way)! I've read the first book, so I'd have to say that "The Impatient Beader" is my most favorite. Thanks for the give-away contest!

What Margot Potter book *wouldn't* I like to read!? I would really like to read Beyond the Bead, though.
Oh boy... another great giveaway! I have had my eye on The Impatient Beader.
Beyond th bead is a good one......but they are all good, would love to add this one to my collection of beading books!
I'd love to look at the "Steampunk style jewelry" most of all.
And I'm blogging about the giveaway:

I have to admit being in Australia I haven't been lucky enough to be exposed to many of Margot's books but I have read awesome reviews of The Impatient Beader on Amazon and I do love the piece on the front of Bead Chic - such an elegant piece.
Thanks again for yet another awesome giveaway!

They all look wonderful. I didn't realize she was a contributor to Enchanted Adornments (I've only read it through once so far). Thoroughly beautiful book, even on top of all the great info.

The Impatient Beader is cool. I'd love to check this one out!
I have not read any of her books, but if I have to select one to start with, I would choose "Beyond the Bead: Making Jewelry with Unexpected things". This sounds right up my alley.
I agree with Alicia: Beyond The Bead: Making Jewelry With Unexpected Finds!
Thanks for the giveaway!
upcycling or recycling is on my mind these days..so Beyond the Bead
is interesing me.

Almost bought this book the other day, but will put my hat in the ring for a chance to win. kmennetti@insight.rr.com
Being in the UK,we do not have access to the wonderful books that are available in the US!That said,I have a hankering after a copy of The Impatient Beader.I have visited the biggest book store in Cardiff and cannot get any books on jewellery design. When I asked, they just shrugged their shoulders! So,if I could win one it would be just wonderful,as I am very much still a novice designer and need to learn a lot about all aspects of design,Anne.
i am all about spreading the word about Margot's new boog...she was on my radio show yesterday and I love her...i will blog and FB and Tweet about it!!!

Trish
I'd have to say "Beyond the Bead" would be the book I'd be most interested in. But I'd love to win the current book!

I should buy The Impatient Beader!! Not because i'm a beginner but because i'm a little impatient at times. LOL swopemelmel@aol.com
Um.. Stringing Style 2 loks good. I don't much stringing and really must try more so shall have to have a read!
As I am new to beading (5 month now) I have to honestly say I haven't read any of her books. But if I had to pick one it would be: "Beyond the Bead: Making Jewelry with Unexpected things".
Especially since I am disabled and on a tight budget, finding things other than expensive beads would be great for me. I will post this on my FB page.
Please, Please send me this book. :)
As an impatient beader, I love her first book "The Impatient Beader" and her new book is definitely on my list of buys....
I first found Margot through the Impatient Crafter books. But this one looks like the one that I am dying to read. The fact that it shows how your artistic influence can reshape a piece from the inspiration it came from is all that I am interested in these days.
You are ever the generous one, Andrew. Thank you!
Enjoy the day!
Erin
I must confess I do not own any of her books, but if I could wish for one it would be 'BEAD CHIC'. But most of her other books appeal to me too. Thank you Andrew and have a great weekend.
I just blogged about it:

I would love to win a copy of Bead Chic. The cover is fantastic!
I like the Four Seasons of Beading
I'd love to win this book. I have to confess I don't know Margot's work, but I went to look at your list on Amazon. I think I'd like to start at the beginning with The Impatient Beader. My beading projects tend to be long and complicated, it would be good to break out of that!
Thanks - I love learning new beady things!!

Steampunk Style Jewelry: Victorian, Fantasy, and Mechanical Necklaces, Bracelets, and Earrings
This book really appeals to me. I love the Victorian times and I really enjoy Science Fiction. So Steampunk brings the two together beautifully.
Cheers, Kat
I have tweeted about it and FB.
Good luck everyone :)
I would be "the impatient beader"!!!!
I posted on Facebook
I tweeted, yes, I am a "Twit"(hate twitter) it is a necessary evil.
I gotta say Steampunk Style Jewelry. I've yet to actually try making any steampunk jewelry, but this book is at the ready for when I'm ready to take the plunge!
It has to be bead chic! So inspiring and beautifully laid out!
Beyond The Bead would be one I would like to read. I have read some of her others at the Cool Beads my favorite bead store. I have Enchanted Adornments and love that book. I will post this on facebook.
I want to win!!!

The Impatient Beader was the first beading book I bought so it is special. After buying it I quickly went out and bought Sparkletastic, and Impatient beader gets inspired.
I just love her personality and how much it shows in her books. All of her other books are in my wish list on amazon. So it would be really great to be able to win one!
Thanks for the contest!
Great luck everyone :)
I added the drawing to my contest list on my blog.: http://lissc.blogspot.com/
Thanks!
okay...go through on twitter...link has been twittered :)
THanks again!
Thanks so much for the contest!
I choose The Impatient Beader.
I'm a big fan of Barb Switzer, and my favorite book in the list (Margot is a contributor) would be Four Seasons of Beading.
I look forward to reading this book. I teach jewelry making classes, and I love introducing my students to the variet of books available!
Well, I love Bead and Wire Exposed -- probably because I adore sparkly swarovski crystals! I am dying to get Bead Chic, though! I have been following the snippets on Margot's blog, and they are fantastic. The day I get my financial aid I'll be running down to Barnes and Noble to get Bead Chic.... hmmm, that's a perfectly valid school expense, right?
What a great giveaway. I love the picture for the new book. I would choose Beyond the Bead. I started using polymer clay this year and have been eyeing things in the hardware store for usein jewelry making.

I would luv to have the book "Beyond The Bead" I am always looking for new ideas to make jewelry etc.with the little pretties I have!
I would love to own this new book by Margot. I have 3 of her books now and refer back to all of them, but most favorite is Beyond the Bead, unless of course, I win, then this one will take over first place. Thanks for the generous giveaway!

My favorite book of hers that I own is 'Bead & Wire Exposed'. I knew I was a fan when I realized that my favorite designs in this book were usually by Margot Potter. I've been interested in getting this book,'Bead Chic', since I knew it existed!
The book that I really want from Margo's collection is her latest BEAD CHIC. All of the designs that she has shared are just wonderful!
