I was a little sad that I didn't get an opportunity to see Gail Crosman Moore at the Bead & Button Show more than the transitory greeting in the elevator. Luckily she'll be coming to town next weekend for the World of Beads VIII presented by The Bead Society of Greater New York. Not only will I get to peruse her selection of vintage sequins, admire her embellished felt and be awestruck by her borosilicate glass, but I'll get to enjoy some of the festivities as well (including a beadwork exhibit, mini-workshops, demonstrations, and a highly curated marketplace).

World of Beads VIII...
