A River Walk...

I've been feeling a little cooped up lately. My deadlines and trying to organize my studio have kept me inside a lot. It's tempting to abandon all these projects in favor of the beautiful weather. Luckily, I finished enough work to feel all right about going on a little river walk at the Ohiopyle State Park yesterday. It was great to get out and relax a little with some hiking and combing the riverbanks for treasures.

I'll leave you with the pictures from the day...

Oh I love hiking down at Ohiopyle. There are so many nice trails to explore! Sounds like a great way to spend the day. ~Nancy

You HAVE to go to cucumber falls, especially in the middle of winter when it's all frozen - amazing!!!! And go to the buckwheat pancake festival too - homemade buckwheat pancakes and homemade pickles - can't be beat!!! In fact, let me know and I'll meet you there!

Hey Nina,

The spirit of our friendship is always with me and I carry it with me always. I found a pebble just for you! Because of you, I always look for heart-shaped rocks.

Beatufiul photos. I especially like the second from the bottom. It reminds me of the days my dad took us kids arrowhead hunting. Afterward we would cool off in the shallow streams, build tiny dams out of twigs, and hunt for fossils washed down stream--all the while trying to avoid crawdads and other critters.
