"Deep within man dwell those slumbering powers; powers that would astonish him, that he never dreamed of possessing; forces that would revolutionize his life if aroused and put into action."
Ha ha ha! I think everyone has slumbering powers. We are each of us capable of the most amazing and incredible things. We can make the world what we want if we realize our hidden potential. Like a superhero!
A funny thing happened after I posted this quote - a friend of mine called me shortly after it posted frantic and said, "You have to change it!" I was like, "Why?" And my friend said, "Slumbering Prowess? What's that supposed to mean!"
Apparently they misread it and thought I was referring to a "morning condition" most men have. I admit that I laughed so hard that I snarfed my coffee. Luckily it was lukewarm.

I must be tired. I read your title and thought to myself, "yes, I have slumbering powers! I can sleep like nobody's business!"

Hmmm... I still smell coffee.
OK, now I just snarfed MY coffee!! That is hilarious!
Eek! I hope you don't go smelling coffee all day like I did! Though, to be perfectly honest... it wasn't so bad.
