Great quote! I'm a huge Emerson fan. I came across this quote of his many years before I ever got married and could so identify with what he was saying. He said, "Is not marriage an open question, when it is alleged, from the beginning of the world, that such as are in the institution wish to get out and such as are out wish to get in?". How true! When I ordered my Anne Choi's last week I had so hoped to get an Emerson quote, but wasn't able to.

I'm a Emerson fan as well. And I was lucky enough to get one of the Anne Choi beads with an Emerson quote on it. I cherish her beads so much. They are one of my favorite things in life. She's got one up right now. It reads, "Sometimes a scream is better than a thesis." And she's got one that says, "Heaven is large and affords space for all modes of love and fortitude." And you can always use her wish list:
