Just a quick shot of the new owls that I got here and will add to my collection. (I don't know how I'm going to squeeze them all into the curio-case.) They range in price - some were gifts, a few cheap, and others on the more pricey side.
Cynthia got one just like it. She's got the eagle eyes. The lady behind the counter said that she didn't have any others... but Cynthia spotted one. She also got this really great ivory one. I think she feels kind of guilty that it's made of ivory. But it's vintage and if she really feels bad about it, she can always donate it to my collection.
I did see Cynthia's owls on her blog. I think the owl obsession runs in the family. My grandmother was a huge owl fanatic also. My mom was really excited when I told her over the weekend on a visit, about my recent owl fascination. She can't wait to be able to look for vintage owls when she goes antique-ing! :)

Hey Heather Wynn,
You're a darling!

:)
I was the first to get the obsession. Cynthia came along later. We are both pack-rats and collectors at heart. So... it's a good thing to focus on.
I love going out to antique. So much fun. I'm usually good at finding special things.
