Stringing Fall 2007...

I'm so excited that the latest issue of Stringing has finally hit the stands! It's my first cover and am just thrilled! (Mine is the one with the copper chain, rubies, and rose-gold leaves.) Everything looks really great. They've really done a spectacular job selecting inspirational designers and their work. I really believe in the magazine! Hey Janet! We love Stringing! I know that for myself, I don't submit pieces to just any magazine. I really have to believe in it and what they're doing and how they treat their contributing designers. It has perhaps limited my exposure within the beading community, but I think that ulimately it has been the best choice. Stringing has fostered a beautiful relationship between the editorial staff and their designers that promotes creativity, exploration, and a consistantly high-quality of both materials featured and designs presented. This makes the magazine very cutting-edge and the designs fresh and full of inspiration!

Hey Cynthia, I like the piece too! It's a weighted lariat that I think is really fun. I don't think Danielle likes my introductions though. ;-) She always cuts out when I try to sneak in bits of allusions from Classical Literature like, "Rosy-Fingered Dawn." Ha ha ha.
