Illustration Friday: Fortune...

Even though the show is getting closer and closer and time is running out, I had to pull myself away for a quick Illustration Friday submission. This week's theme is "Fortune." I've illustrated the Wheel of Frotune, much like I did for the last theme, "Green." First I started off by collaging the background, then painting and inserting the figure. Only this time, I had some more drawing/design elements and I added those later.

Hope you enjoy. I didn't nearly almost have to die to make this one!

this is a very nice style... Like how the wheel almost is luminescent.... and the character of the pose is interesting as well.... its almost puppetlike in posture!... I really really like it.. Its interesting! ps.. good luck with your show... :)

Very nice. The wheel looks neon! I love the ghostly vapors around her and the circular shapes floating about. Very moody, nice entry.
Best of luck on the show!

Wonderful piece Andrew. I like the way the wheel reflects, and the expression on the maiden.

I think they say "break a leg" in theatre for good luck, so break a pencil. Best of luck with your show.

Food for the soul!

Just got another volunteer for going to the bead district in NY, so, looks like there'll be three of us some Sat. in May.

Outstanding job! The wheel glows like a neon light and it has a great 3D effect. I like this one a lot.

This is nice. Dark, mysterious, and mystic.
