Migraines...

Today I got a migraine while I was at work. Very inconvenient. It was our first day of being officially open. Cindy had recommended an herbal remedy, but unfortunately it was back at home and I didn't get a chance to try it yet. I was talking with my manager about the migraines and was telling her that my senses were heightened. I could smell everything and hear everything. I was painfully aware of everything around me.

Sometimes I am painfully aware... I'm not the biggest fan.

I hope you're feeling better. Did the remedy help when you got to it? One of the indications for Nux Vomica is an overly sensitive nervous system, including sensitivity to slight noises, bright lights and unpleasant odors, so that makes sense with what you were feeling.

I am feeling better, but I didn't try it yet. After I get to a certain stage, anything I put in my mouth comes back up. Even though my mouth and throat get painfully dry (especially after puking) even water induces vomitting. I waited too long and instead had to resort to hiding myself away in a dark, quiet, room.

I suppose I might have thought to tell you that you put two of the pellets under your tongue and let them dissolve there :). It's best not to touch the pellets, twist the cap while holding the tube upside down, then take off the cap and drop the pellets into your mouth without touching the cap to your mouth. If you need more clarity on that, email me. Sorry, there was so much to tell about the remedy that I forgot about the how-to-use-it part. The same thing happened to me today with someone that I recommended a flower essence to last week. Maybe I should make myself a checklist :(.

I hope you feel better. This weather kicks off some really painful headaches, I think that is what they are, in one of our children who cannot express himself. I sometimes think he has migraines, but we call it sinus weather, here at home.
Thank you for reading my blog. the comments you leave are so cool.

Hey Jean, I would agree that the weather has an affect on my headaches/migraines. Sudden changes, like the ones we just experienced here in New York, don't help at all.

Oh, and I enjoy commenting. Thanks for giving me something to comment on!
