Paulo Sleepy Cat...

It has been rainy and slightly chilly here. Days like these, I sort of walk around in a muddled haze. My mind is as cloudy as the sky, causing words to swim on the page and beads to blur together into a bumpy mass, leaving me to think only of when next I can cocoon myself in quilts and sleep. I'm not the only one apparently!

I walked in on this scene: Paulo taking a break from his usual romping, bug-chasing and playing for a nap in my bed, snuggled under blankets. He had tucked himself in. His paws were extended, as if to say, "Come join me." Of course, on days like these, any gesture he could make would be a signal to cuddle.
