Desolate Beauty...

It snowed all last night, blanketing the landscape of muted browns and grays in a fine powdering of white snow. I woke up to this stark, desolate beauty. I can appreciate it, but I am not a cold weather person at all. Although I've lived in the Northeast for several years now, I just can't get used to it. The first time I saw snow falling, I was walking by the Empire State building and thought it was so beautiful... and then I fell.

My relationship with the cold, white stuff has not changed much: Admire it from afar, but only from afar. (Let's hope it warms up and doesn't snow again until after I leave for Tucson!)

Can you even stand it? You are spending the middle of this winter in TUCSON! I am so excited.

I love show, but I wish it would stay off the streets and sidewalks--ha fat chance that!

Enjoy Tuscon!
