The delightful
Melanie Brooks of
Earthenwood Studio sent me a print in the mail to cheer me up by the talented Laura Berger. Laura is a Chicago-based artist and illustrator. The characters she creates are full of magic and whimsy. There's a sweetness to the colorfully patterned, graphic shapes and lines that make up her fantastical cosmology. To see more of Laura's work

"Things are going to work out."
And I agree... things are going to work out. It's just going to take time and patience.

Remember the other saying, "Keep calm and carry on." Things will work out!
Aw, what a sweet card. The creatures really are terrific and I didn't know about Laura Berger yet so thanks for sharing. :)
Nothing goes on forever. Things always work out. I was talking to a friend today about hanging on to the past to relive misery or fast forwarding to the future to avoid living just for today. It has a lot to do with things always getting better and working out. Adaptation and acceptance are big challenges for me but when I embrace them I am able to live many happy "todays".
I agree. And it takes time to unravel. It took time to get to this point right? That is so very sweet of Miss Melanie! Enjoy the day, Andrew.
