Both of them are fine, except for ear mites. They got special drops. I'm sure I'll have fun holding them down and administering the medicine! (Perhaps I'll wait until they're asleep before attempting Operation Ear-Drops.) Babette managed to escape having to get tested for Feline Leukemia. Poor Paulo on the other hand was not so lucky and had to have a blood test. He didn't go down without drawing a little blood himself. One of the staff muttered with distaste about how "feisty" he was!
They'll have to go back for booster shots, more vaccinations, and eventually to be spayed and neutered. I'm dreading the expense of everything, but the important thing is that they're both healthy. Maybe I'll have a "Paulo and Babette Sale" in my shop to raise money for their upcoming operations.

Your babies are so cute! When mine had ear mites, the vet gave me a one time medication that was just applied on the nape of the neck. Think it also kills fleas. Anyway, it worked like a charm in only one dose. I treated all three of mine at once even though only one had them. I was concerned with the toxicity of the drops since one of mine, in particular, is the group groomer. You might want to ask your vet about it. Good luck!
I had a kitty once who had GIANT RED STICKERS all over her "file" that said "AGGRESSIVE-take caution" because she turned into a mix of something between a demon and the tazmanian devil....eventually we had to take her to a cat-only vet that used special care with very anxious cats. That worked wonders!
Very adorable babies!
Speaking of spaying and neutering, you might try to find a discount coupon online. I had 3 kitties to neuter, and I got them done for about $35.00 each! I applied for and received the coupons from "Spay and Save". The only hook is that you must go to a participating vet, but it wasn't a problem. The vet I was already going to was a participant. Enjoy your babies!!
The "worst" part I think is the fact you can't really explain it to a cat, that the things you do that they hate is really for their own good. It's not just being mean. Like administering pills/drops or going to the vet. Not popular, but sometimes needed.
Our Randa looked so crossed at me when I picked her up after surgery, I told her I was so sorry for doing that to her (though not doing it would've killed her). Then I had to buy her luxury comfort food -- that usually is enough to be forgiven most things.
Forgot to say: Your kitties are so cute! (one can never say that too many times.)
They're adorable! I love kittens, they're so fun, especially when there's 2 OMG I'm envious of getting to watch them play together.
You might check with your city pound about cheap spay/neuters. They may have an onsite vet and offer them for cheap, offer coupons for local vets, or know of clinics that offer them very cheaply. I know here we have lots of resources like that.
Your gray and white cat looks just like mine!
ergh....can't state stuff about cats cause I am allegric to them but I am blessed with Peaches cause she is quite mellow with the vet:)
Good luck!!

What beautiful kids!
I really think that taking them to the vet is harder on us than them. But thank you for good pet 'parent'.
