Staedtler Bottle of Hope Challenge...

While I was on hiatus from the blog world, I found out that my piece, Through the Woods, is one of the 25 finalists for the Staedtler Bottle of Hope Challenge! The finalists will compete for three spots: Best in Show, Best Expression of Hope, and People's Choice. If you're attending the 2009 Winter CHA show, be sure to stop by the Staedtler booth to vote for my piece. Don't forget! The winner will be announced Monday, January 26th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Staedtler booth.

Thanks! Whoever wins and whatever the case, it's a great cause. $500 will be donated to the charity of the winners' choice.

If I won, I think I'd like to put that money towards the memorial scholarship in Amelia's name at our college. I remember how much that could have helped back then.

Either that, or for St. Jude's. They do such amazing work there.

Hi there. I have been trying to find the updated website for the pictures we were promised. I found out I won best expression of hope. But I really am excited to see everyone's piece. Your design is really awesome. Mine was made from a glass insulin cartridge. Great to have found you. Lisa
