The supremely talented and very thoughtful Anne Choi sent along this awesome silver bead she made after my grandma passed away. She makes the most amazing sugar skull and mandrake beads. The sides are inscribed with a quote in French by Hélène Cixous that translates into:Time and the world and the person only meet a single time.

What a great bead! I have yet to design something with the sugar skull beads I've bought from Anne.... I bought some carved jade flower beads to keep with the Day of the Dead theme.
I love this bead! Isn't it awesome? Anne Choi is easily one of my most favorite people in all the world!
