Midnight Collaboration: Modern Art...

After our treasure hunting walk, we stopped at a wine store and picked up a couple of bottles of wine.

We headed back to the apartment, with our loot and our wine, contemporary pirates of the post-post-modern age.

Paper, clay, graphite and charcoal were brought out after we had had our fill of wine and we created a collaborative work. It was a blast to just play and let things flow. Sometimes I miss just making spontaneous works with other people. There's a magic in the process, and although it may not be the most technically strong piece, it was a great exercise.

So from pirates, we became artists of the modern sort. Perhaps it was all inspired from our trip to MoMA the night before.
