We have been furnishing our apartment with things that we've found out on the street and have had some real gems. We've found loads of lamps, books, bookshelves, desks, chairs, tables, dressers... all sorts of good things.
I thought that last week I had hit the jackpot with an antique dresser I found. Sheila helped me retrieve it in the rain one night. It was pretty heavy because it was solid wood. BUT Seth, Sheila and I went for a walk and I found the best treasure yet!
We found this beautiful lamp with an etched post, marble base, and lovely cast of a mer-horse. We've fondly called him "George", pronounced the Spanish way!
