Tonight I was fortunate enough to make my way over to Bond Street to check out my friend Sarkilahti's jewelry. It was a Launch Cocktail Party and trunk show for Sage New York Showroom. It featured works by Odette New York (Sarkilahti's company), Rebecca Hass, Mother Daughter, Dindy Fisher, Gilbert & Gilbert, and Eric Bonnin at Phurniture. She featured works from her newest line of cast pieces. Her new work, I think has a playful and lighter feeling and really captures a sense of drawing. I am particularly fond of her older work with a very clean and elegant feeling.
