North Beach...

On our last day in Port Townsend, the sun came out.  We had heard rumors of an excellent glass beach not far from the campus and decided to take a few hours to explore North Beach.
The beach was heavily studded with rounded, ocean-tumbled stones.  In the bright sunshine the speckled granite glowed shades of pink, green and purple.  Curious black rocks crisscrossed with contrasting white veining also dotted the beach.  Although quite lovely, the loose wash of stones made navigating the beach tricky and nearly impossible for Cynthia to trek.
Next to the beach was a great expanse of green meadow.  Bits of flotsam and jetsam littered the dividing line between rocky beach and green pasture – evidence left behind at high tide.
Some of the largest ravens I've ever seen were in this field.  Their black feathers and flapping wings were shadows moving across the expanse of vibrant green flecked with dandelion yellow.  Their cawing was an ominous sign.

Andrew - I'm not sure I'd know what to do in that situation, either. Sometimes I think there is no right answer. I pray you find peace. <3

What an interesting day you had at the beach. I'm not sure I would know what to do eather. In the end I would probably assume it was not human, and leave it alone.

As a Human Osteoarchaeologist (a person who studies skeletons for a living) you needed to call the police. When we uncover bones unexpectedly we have to get the police involved. As a someone not in the know its ok to not have known what to do. But I would still notify the police and tell them the semi-whereabouts of it because even if is animal osteoarchaeologist will take interest.

All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.
