Autumn's Song...

It has been cool and rainy lately. The leaves are all changing and many of them have already dropped. A thick fog rolls in and out over the mountains, like some kind of gray tide. I took a little bit of time for myself today. I took time to walk and soak in the colors of one of my favorite seasons. The picture above was snapped on the porch of some of fallen leaves.

It's strange to think you are having such weather when we are having close to zero humidity, 90's, and wildfires...I miss the trees and humidity!

The fall with the wind and the leaves its like some majic in the air of adventure! And it always restores ones soul to walk thru the leaves on a brisk fall day!

Gorgeous leaf photo! You're lucky to have the changing seasons as inspiration-I miss the shades of fall now that I live in Southern California!

I do think it's strange to think about other places at the same time and how they are so different. I always marvel over how technology connects us and allows us to do these things and share about them.

When we were kids and growing up in Florida, we really didn't have much of seasons there. I appreciate them now. I enjoy them greatly. You can certainly feel the turning of the wheel, the world spinning madly on and you being apart of it.

It makes me in mood to pick apples and drink apple cider and make pumpkin pies and "Mush" and bundling up and lighting fires and reading and looking at leaves and being cool, but not too cold and not too hot. I love fall.

Isn't it invigorating?
I, too, have a hard time thinking about what it must be like, now, at this moment, somewhere where I'm not. Funny, because i'm not an out-of-site, out-of-mind kind of person. But weather is hard to imagine.
Beautiful photo! Enjoy the crispness of season!

It sure is!

Then again the changes in the weather are killing my sinuses, but I'm rolling with it.

I can't wait to go to the farmers market and enjoy some of the harvest goodies. I think we are in need of a feast to celebrate the season.
