Yard Dog Road Show...

Last night, to celebrate Tony's birthday, we all went out to see the Yard Dog Road Show at the Orange Peel here in Asheville. It was a lot of fun! The traveling vaudeville troop of performers, musicians, and magicians evoke a certain carnival-esque vibe, combining costumes inspired by 1920's burlesque and road shows from the 1800's and energetic rock and roll. Be sure to check out their tour dates, as they're bound to be in a city near you!

Hey Janet! Yeah, they were great to watch. The opening act was a belly-dancing act from Asheville. They were all right, but I was getting nervous that the main show was going to be like that. We wanted to do something really special for Tony's birthday. So, I was happy and very pleased when the main act just blew all of my expectations away. It was fun.

We're getting ready to go still. We've got a couple more days here in Asheville before we head on up. It's stressful. Most nights we don't get to go to bed until 3 or 4 in the morning and get up super early in the morning for girl. Exhausting. But good.

Greg is the only one of us who has worked on his costume yet. Cynthia and I will probably have to do some improv.

I know about Greg's costume. It sounds AMAZING. He will carry the day!

As for you and Cynthia, how could either of you be anything but special, too. in anything either of you choose to wear!
