The prompt for Day 12, of this month-long celebration of creativity and crafting hosted by Fusion Beads, was to create a set of stacked bracelets.
For today's challenge, I decided to work with the 2014 Pantone Color of the Year: Radiant Orchid. I made a mix of size 8 Japanese seed beads in different shades of pinks and pale purples and randomly strung these beads onto lengths of Memory Wire. I then added wire-wrapped dangles strung with beads from the Treasure Box to the looped ends of these bracelets.
Even though the idea of this challenge was to create a set to be worn together, two little girls came into the shop today (clad head to toe in hot pink) and told me about how each of them had a birthday next week. I decided to break up the set and gave each of them a bracelet to have as early birthday presents.
