Morning...
Sometimes when things become overwhelming, I like to take a moment to reflect. It's not always the most productive of things, but in the end it puts me in a good head-space to work and finish what needs to be done. I can't turn back the clock to yesterday morning and the beautiful sunrise that I saw, but I can look at the photo I quickly took before heading out the door. This is a snap-shot out the window yesterday morning as seen from my apartment in Brooklyn. People are probably getting bored of my pictures from the same vantage-point, but I don't care. I like them and so I'm going to post them.

I think those moments taken for reflection are actually very productive. They recharge your soul and energize your purpose. This photo is beautiful - I love the freshness of the dawn. It's a real life metaphor:>
Post away, my friend, with whatever you want -- it is YOUR blog after all!
Cheers,
Hey Carla...
Yes, they are in that way very productive. It's just when you have a list of other things that must be done that they seem to be less so.
I remember spending a vacation at my parents' house. All day I worked on ideas for projects. It was hard work and required lots of patience and thinking. I was working on a small painting at the time as well. I would pick up the brush here and there, but I was much more deep in thought and I didn't want to ruin my painting by acting to quickly.
My parents came home and were unimpressed with my progress. I had told them that I had been working all day and very hard, but they were in disbelief. There wasn't much to show, but I had done a lot of work.
Sometimes we work hard without much evidence and sometimes it is easy to forget that not all things that are quantifiable can be of great worth and value!
Hey Lynn! Don't you worry, I'll keep posting them. I'll post them until people get sick of them and stop coming to my blog and even afterwards I'll still keep posting!
