Crying Eye Bead from Anne Choi...

I've been trying to save my pennies to pay back the enormous student loans I've wracked up. However, sometimes I see something that I have to have and have to make a concession. This Anne Choi bead was one of those items! I photographed it on a stool decorated with a painting my sister (Cynthia) did for me. This new piece has inspired me to go into my dragon's horde and use some of my treasures for new designs.

Thanks, Jean! I love the bead and the painted stool. They're great! I usually don't use my Anne Choi beads. I usually just collect them and keep them for myself and won't let anyone see them unless they are very special. On rough days, days where I'm beat down, I take them out and look at them and they always seem to make me feel better.

Hey Michelle,

Thanks! The painting is a gem. My sister is a very talented artist as well. I love her work and I love my stool. And who doesn't love Anne Choi beads? They're GREAT!

Hey Ulla!

I'm a fan of Cynthia's work too! Did you see the Oracle Deck that we started? Progress has slowed since we've got the big shows coming up and we're in different states, but it's inching forward and when complete, I think will be killer!

Hey Heather!

I know... surprising, no? But good. It's something that I've needed to do for a long time. I just have such an attachment to them. Sometimes things become so loved that you want to keep them away from the light of world and only for yourself. I've felt this way about my Anne Choi beads for a long while now. But I guess it's time to shake things up a bit and change old patterns.
