Steampunk Style Jewelry...

Speaking of how-to books... the lovely and talented Jean Campbell put together a fabulous collection of Steampunk-inspired jewelry projects from a group of designers working with "no fire" techniques.  (I'm one of the designers!)  The projects are supplemented with histories and overviews of the art movement.  The book is called, Steampunk Style Jewelry: A Maker's Collection of Victorian, Fantasy, and Mechanical Designs and is available for pre-order on Amazon.

Do you have stock in a publishing company :-) How exciting to be one of the featured designers!

That is so exciting. For you...and for me! Another book to add to my collection! I will go right now and sign up for it! Enjoy the day! Erin

P.S. I see Enchanted Adornments is also on pre-order. I'm on it!

Hey Jean! From looking at the list of contributors, if my piece is a star... then it's a star in a starry night sky! You've lined up quite a cast of talented designers! I feel honored to be included!

Hey Norma! Ha ha ha! I wish I owned stock in a publishing company, a very successful publishing company!

But I'm just featuring books that I've in some way or another had a hand in. For Cynthia's book, I helped her with whatever she needed to realize her vision and tech edited the book. For Steampunk Style Jewelry, I made one of the projects.

So I am very excited for all the new books coming out!

Hey Erin! I'm really excited for both books. Cynthia and Jean have really worked hard on crafting really interesting and innovative ways of exploring jewelry. I love that each book, in its own way, has sort of expanded upon what a normal "how-to" jewelry book should be.

I'm really very proud of them both!

So awesome! I always need a few more "goodies"...and I am waiting for the day that I might have a "goodie" of my own. I will. Just wait....

Enjoy the day! Erin

Hey Erin!

Having worked on a couple of books now and helping out, I am finally beginning to realize what a HUGE undertaking a book is. It really requires a team who are all on board on creating and executing the vision, spending countless hours doing sometimes unpleasant tasks. It really does require the support and love of many.

I'm sure that when you undertake your own "goodie" that you'll have what you need to be a success. Keep on making and creating!
