New Goodies...

While I was away, my prize from Scarlett Lanson's Use the Muse Contest came!  The prizes are shown in the picture to the far left – brand new shapes and colors of Swarovski crystals.  I had the pleasure of seeing Marsha Neal in Philadelphia and the picture in the center are of her new ceramic pieces I took away from the show; aren't they wonderful!?!?  (While in Philadelphia, I also picked up some great lampwork glass pendants - not shown - from Joanne from Z Designs in Glass.)  On the far right are a few ceramic beauties from Gaea Cannaday.  Don't you just love the Day of the Dead motif?  I also got some lockets and bezels while I was away, but will save those for later.  I can't wait to work with all these wonderful components!

Love all your new goodies - I almost made it to Philly but I had my art opening on Saturday - probably good for my wallet I didn't. I especially like the Marsha Neal pieces - can't wait to see what you do with everything.

It was great to see you at the show too! Thanks for giving me a peek at some of the new pieces you are working on - they are so intricate. It's amazing to see how your brain, eyes, heart and hands really work in sync...

I will dive into my goodie bags tomorrow (off to get 4 trunk shows to their destinations today) - I love the pieces I got from you guys and Joanne too - isn't her glass amazing!!!

I look forward to seeing you again!

Hey Andrew,

I can't wait to see what you do with those oval links, they really are interesting! Here's a link to what I did with them for the Rainbows of Light newsletter (scroll to bottom):

Hey Jean!

Sorry you didn't make it out to the show. It would have been nice to have met you! But good for you for the art show and for protecting your wallet. Maybe you'll be able to come out to the show in August?

Hey Marsha!

It was definitely good to see you. I've missed you so much. I wish that we could have chatted longer, though we would have been at risk of talking ALL DAY!

Hey Janet!

Yeah, I'm digging what Gaea is making. She's really talented and has a good spirit. I know that she's awesome because she drinks awesome coffee. So two thumbs up for her!
