Coffee with Melissa J. Lee...

As luck would have it, Melissa J. Lee was in town.  You might recognize Melissa from her many articles written for beading publications, her blog, or from her PMC and mixed media components.  CLICK HERE to go to her Etsy shop.  We met up in posh SoHo for coffee and a nice chat.  I also got to meet the blog-famous Short One.  I'm glad that we got to meet up and catch up in person!  She's a gem!

what fun...did I mention I'm so jealous that you get to meet all these talented people!

Watching her work, I'm really glad to see that her talent has matured so quickly considering she has been making jewelry only for a year or so.....

...hope to see you soon, have fun at B&B...say hi to Kate!

Hey Andrew,

I had a fun time - thanks for meeting us in SoHo! (The SO asked where you had gone when I went to find him and H. at the park, afterward.) Looking forward to seeing you and drooling over all of the Green Girl Studios goodness in Milwaukee!

Rupa, you are so sweet - thank you!

Melissa

Hey Rupa! There are a lot of talented and famous people out your way. And there's the Maker Fair I think this weekend! There are sure to be lots of crafty fun folks!

I'll let Kate say you said hello! Miss you much and hope all is well out yonder!

Hey Melissa!

I had fun also! I'm not cool enough to be in SoHo anymore... but it was interesting people watching there.

It was a pleasure to meet H and The SO. The SO seems like a lot of fun and makes me miss Azalea dreadfully. If you all were in New York, I'd offer to babysit so you could get some studio time in. Alas.

Can't wait to see you again in Milwaukee!
