I'm going to see what will happen if I soak them in a blend of sandalwood, frankincense, and amber oil. I don't want to knock people dead with the scent, but it would be lovely if they could take on a faint hint of that earthy spice bouquet. I also might add a few drops of the oil blend to a beeswax polishing compound that I sometimes use to buff polymer clay. It gives the beads such a silky feel and a satin look that rests perfectly in-between glossy and matte.

Oh yummy! I just love those beads too. I can only imagine if they had that wonderful aroma also.
Andrew! Out of all the beads in the "Good Earth Challenge" I love these beads the most!! I had no idea you made them!! I keep coming up with different designs/ideas and no matter the design or idea these beads are included....definitely!! I've even wondered where I'd search to acquire more of them for the challenge. I will tell you that the "Good Earth" is most definitely a challenge for I have yet to string a bead due to all of the varying design possibilities I keep birthing ... it's exhausting!
