As Seen in the Cards Art Exhibition at Allegory Gallery...

Allegory Gallery is pleased to celebrate the latest art exhibition on the Project Wall!  The show is called, "As Seen in the Cards" and will feature work inspired by the Tarot Deck.  The pieces come from half a dozen different artists, some local and some abroad.  The show runs from March 9th to April 12th!  If you're around on Friday, March 9th (tomorrow) please stop by for the opening reception!  The event runs from 5PM to 8PM.  We'll have free food and beverages (culinary delights provided by Jewels Phraner of Oven Lovin')!  Erin Zeddies will be on-hand to give mini-readings and to discuss the significance of the cards!

There will ALSO be a Trunk Show at Second Chapter Books the same night!  The Trunk Show will feature the work of Ginger Mesko.  If you come by, you'll have the opportunity to meet her in person and see her unique painted skulls and eclectic jewelry!  She has some stunning pieces made of feathers and bullet casings!

So if you're around, definitely stop by!  It should be a fun night and we would LOVE to see you!

It sounds fabulous! I like that your exhibitions have a theme. Will the food follow the theme too?
How fun!

For this opening, Jewels made lemon bars, mini-cinnamon rolls, crostini with pesto and bruschetta, and bacon-wrapped prunes! Keep up with her blog for all the details and recipes; she generally shares them there. http://ovenlovinblog.com

I think this one was a hard month to thematically cook for, but she did a most excellent job!

Oh, that sounds like such a special exhibit! I would love to see it. Will there be photos on your website? And the goodies will be great... I won cookies from Jewels in February that were yummy! Enjoy the day. Erin

That is the neatest idea for exhibition I've seen in a long time! Have fun at the opening tonight :)
