'wichcraft Cookbook...

Speaking of 'wichcraft, Sisha and Tom just came out with a cookbook that shares in some of the secrets and magic that go into creating the foundations of a successful restaurant chain.  I think it's safe to say that I can give at least partial credit to my love affair with food to the things I've tasted and learned in the kitchens at 'wichcraft.  Their dedication to quality and passion for food is infectious and I've well and truly caught the foodie fever!

The new cookbook is aptly called, 'wichcraft: Craft a sandwich into a meal – and a meal into a sandwich.  The book is simply delicious!  The step-by-step recipes and photography are rich and mouthwatering.  So much so, that Gourmet magazine has selected to feature it as their book of the month for the month of April.  CLICK HERE to visit Gourmet magazine's online supplementary materials including video tutorials and tasty recipes from the book!

Hey Barbe! Although I don't work for the company any more, I really love it. They make such tasty treats and I owe them a lot for the new horizons in food they've shown me.

My advice would be to stop in either right before or an hour or so after the lunch rush. It can get pretty hectic during lunch. And it's good to give the staff time to recover or for the shift changes to happen (which generally happen within the hour after a lunch rush, 11:30 to 2:30 or so).

I also love their coffee! la Colombe, how I wish I had a tube in my mouth that never stopped pumping in that rich, smooth, robust elixir of life.
