Weekly Word: Ancient...

This week's word is "ancient". Create a piece of jewelry, a work of art, or take a picture that, in your opinion, best captures the meaning of the word. Think about the word and its different interpretations and how it makes you feel. Translate it into whatever medium you'd like and then post about it on your blog. Once you've uploaded your blog post, copy and paste the URL into a new comment on this post. Be sure to check out what others are making, inspired by the weekly word. Don't delay; you have a week until the new word is posted.

The pieces of ancient Roman Glass make this crown my submission for this week's Weekly Word.

Hi Andrew! I love your inspiring word a week, and I've been following your blog for a long time, although I am pretty quiet and don't say too much. I love your blog, and am very inspired by your art, and every one of your thoughtful posts on both your art and your life. I'm a bead artist, and while I don't normally create to a theme (they just happen to me, lol), your word this week coincided perfectly with the piece I was making. I would love it if you or one of your readers would like to check in and see what I made! Nancy Dale
