30 Words Thursday...

Never have I heard a quiet taunt so loud – their neglect a silent plea. Unused artist implements, covered in fine dust, they scream: "Pick me up and paint again, please!"

Andrew, it's all about perspective. What you wrote about the photo was not my first thought. I saw those brushes lying there and my first thought was "Oh! Here it comes! Something wonderful is going to happen here......something beautiful." Anticipation. That's what I felt.
Then I read your words. Welcome to the real world I guess.

I would love to start painting again and hopefully I'll be able to do so soon! It's just a matter of making some time.

Put down the ipad, turn off the phone, don't look at emails today and paint! Everyone needs to make time for what they love and for what energizes them.

Love the colors and composition of your photo, BTW.

A beautiful photo. I agree that objects sometimes end up reflecting our feelings about them...

Oh Andrew!! I adore this. You are so right, sometimes our supplies call to us. It's best not to neglect that call. Often that's when we are our most creative. I hope you picked those babies us and created something amazing. :)
