30 Words Thursday...

Done.  I am done.  Winter doldrums, go away.  No more soggy socks or runny noses. The snow and cold has outlasted its stay. I'm ready to trade white for green.

I totally hear you and agree! Spring can't come soon enough for me, but since I choose to live in Minnesota I think I still have a long wait. Hang in there!

I like your photo. And I'm done with winter too, but I don't think it's done with us.

Warm wishes heading your way Andrew! I can imagine all that getting old. We only had a day or two of it down here and I was hating it! Stay warm and I'll think happy, green thoughts for you.

Unlike the rest of you, we appear to be done with winter whether it is done with us or not. Our high two days ago was 43F; today, it is 62, sunny with clear blue skies. It looked so inviting I took a walk, and despite the weeks of unseasonable cold, there were the beginnings of samaras in the red maples, tiny yellow and blue flowers on a few clumps of weedy grass and even one dandelion poking a bright yellow head up, for all the world as if it had good sense. In the south, it's hard to keep spring down no matter how much winter drags its feet.

Though I don't have the snow, I am ready for Spring to show its face.

Amen to that! We are about to be dumped with a fresh blanket of white. The only good thing I can say is that it will at least be fresh to wipe away the dirty tan snow! Thank you for joining in the 30 Words challenge, Andrew. It is lovely to have you! Enjoy the day! Erin

Here it's mud rather than snow, and we can't wait to see the back of it!
