I have been unpacking and organizing like crazy since I've been back. There are MOUNTAINS of bits, baubles, and beads. Stowed away, many of them were forgotten. Tomorrow I leave for Philadelphia for BeadFest. I am, as always, completely unprepared. Every horizontal surface in the apartment is covered with odds and ends still waiting to be sorted and I've still got to pack for the show and for a week of exploring Pennsylvania. I kind of want to check out the old Westmoreland Glass Company factory. It'll probably just be an abandoned building now, but I do love urban ruins.

Stella is so lovely. Her face just looks very ethereal.

ohhh andrew, i do miss you. i miss your zeal for life and all its adventures; i miss your love of good food, i miss your laughter, i miss your peaceful approach towards everything arouind you. i wish i could go explore the old glass facility with you, i wish that we could take shovels and dig for shards of bumpy milk glass.
your doll is beautiful - i can't imagine how cynthia manages to get each tiny detail so life-like, yet she does, every single time.
love to you, my friend. xo
Stella is lovely, Andrew. And I love her copper cuff. The wicked witch was very misunderstood, you know.
Stella is so beautiful, and she makes a wonderful model for your cuff.
Thanks for your recommendation on the liquid gloves for my bronze clay class tomorrow, I'll be sure to look for it once I get into the big city.
