Thursday Giveaway...

I've been watching a new technique infiltrate the bead world: Soutache.  It's popping up everywhere!  If you're not familiar with it, it's basically a decorative braid that embellishes bead embroidery, creating a dimensional piece of wearable art.  Anneta Valious recently came out with a book called, "Soutache: 30 Gorgeous Bead Embroidery Designs".  It explores the technique and includes lots of how-to projects.

This week, one lucky winner will take home a prize package including a copy of Anneta Valious' new book and a kit to create the Vintage Bracelet featured in the book.  The kit includes everything you need to get started!  Cording, thread, needles, beads... everything!  This prize comes courtesy of Lark Books and has a retail value over $30!  CLICK HERE to take a gander at the book and CLICK HERE to check out Lark Crafts.

To enter to win this awesome prize is easy!  All you have to do is comment on this blog post!  One lucky winner will be randomly selected from the comment section of this blog post on Monday, (May 5th) at midnight EST.  Make sure to leave your name and email address if it doesn't appear next to your comment for easy verification.  This giveaway is open to all participants, including international readers!

*If you don't see you comment appear, don't worry!  I have turned on the comment moderation to reduce spam and will periodically add comments.*

Bonus Points:  You can earn extra chances of winning this great prize package from Lark Crafts!  All you have to do is blog about, pin on Pinterest, share on Facebook, and/or tweet on Twitter about this Thursday Giveaway.  Don't forget to add each of your acts of social media kindness as a separate comment for your additional entries to win!  And don't forget to link back to this post!

Andrew, this is such cool looking book. I've tried my hand at soutache and think it's pretty impressive looking. I would LOVE to win this book and kit. What a treat that would be. Thanks for doing this contest. :)

I took a class from Hannah Rosner at B&B and it was fabulous. My dog thought so too and ate my project. I so felt like I was back in school. Shared on facebook. Thanks - and for your posts too.

This looks interesting! It would solve some design issues I've been having. I hadn't heard of it before now.

As of six weeks ago, I'd never worked with seed beads. Why not learn my fourth beading technique?
