Today...

Today is the day. In just a few minutes, I'll be leaving for the hospital to have the rebellious cells removed from my body. I'm a little bit nervous. They'll be putting me under and it's the first time I'll be out cold. Isn't it strange, the things we worry about? They're removing about half a square foot of skin and I'm worried about being knocked out.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support, well-wishes and encouragement. I feel blessed to have so many people in my corner. Thank you.

  1. Keeping good thoughts coming your way, Andrew. Don't worry about being "knocked out"...you won't even remember it at all. It will be just like a glitch in time, a eye blink.

  2. Thinking of you and in a week or so we will be celebrating you being free from this! Take it easy after surgery it will feel strange and sore but this surgery is well worth the pain because it will be taking it all away! I meant to ask if they are checking nodes or not?

    Hug and Healing Blessings!

  9. Good thoughts your way.

I got "knocked out" when they took my toungsils out about 7 years ago, they put something in my IV and asked me to count to 30. I think I got as far as 12.

I wish you a speedy recover and farewell to all those cells they will take out of you.
