Two of my pieces were selected as semi-finalists for the KGI Worldwide Design Contest. Although I didn't place, it was still really fun and they took some really nice pictures of my pieces. KGI Worldwide Design Contest Update...
Two of my pieces were selected as semi-finalists for the KGI Worldwide Design Contest. Although I didn't place, it was still really fun and they took some really nice pictures of my pieces. These are amazing! I love the use of the clasp in the Rite of Spring.

ReplyDeleteHey Heather! Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun making them. I like the way the Rites of Spring necklace clasps in the front as well. It's a neat way to play with balance and work with organic shapes, like the Swarovski leaves.

ReplyDeleteHey Rupa! I like decorative clasps, because it provides a catalyst to think differently when designing. The solution doesn't always have to be, "Wear your hair up," but could be a reason to move the clasp in the front.
ReplyDeleteHey Sheila! Thanks so much! They are pretty light. I guess it's because they've got a pretty evenly distributed weight around the entire pieces. Even though crystals look light and airy, they can weigh a ton if not weighted throughout a piece.
