I used some seconds that they'll occasionally sell that don't have holes and they disappeared completely.

I'm thinking about using some of the new shapes and partially embedding them... we'll see.

Thanks though for sharing!Andrew Thorntonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04191233443131580096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31223185.post-70080051821279359372010-02-26T13:55:53.444-08:002010-02-26T13:55:53.444-08:00About the sequins disappearing--I have found that ...About the sequins disappearing--I have found that almost any clear glass or plastic when under resin will almost completely disappear. I solved the problem by using the real Swarovski crystals and applying them after the resin has set up for about four hours and longer if really deep resin. It is still sticky enough to hold the crystal, but it should not sink to the bottom. It of course is above the resin, but that is the only way I have found for it to stay sparkly. There are a lot of plastic "crystals" that really disappear if resin completely covers them and they do not have the sparkle that glass has even if they are left on top of the resin.

Hope this helps and thanks for stopping by my blog. I have enjoyed checking yours out!Jeanne Rheahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13005420371983456968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31223185.post-18495171456214739442010-02-25T10:46:54.092-08:002010-02-25T10:46:54.092-08:00Hey Rebecca,

You can check it out by going to the link on the sidebar of this blog. It has step by step instructions on how to work with most resins, as well as a troubleshooting guide that we've honed from personal experience.

As far as the sequins go, apparently so! These ones are slightly "coned" in shape and the facets do reflect light and have an interference blue color.Andrew Thorntonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04191233443131580096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31223185.post-53293770660471884662010-02-25T10:32:52.747-08:002010-02-25T10:32:52.747-08:00Andrew,

I am unable to tell from the picture on my computer monitor. Do the sequins retain their sparkle and their ability to refract light?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

RebeccaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31223185.post-42114333872116921002010-01-27T06:50:32.290-08:002010-01-27T06:50:32.290-08:00Andrew these are amazing - oh boy something new fo...Andrew these are amazing - oh boy something new for me to think about trying.
